CHILDREN GROUP SKING OR SNOWBOARD LESSONS

YOUR CHILD’S DAY

Your child will spend the day with their instructor and group sliding, exploring, laughing, learning, and playing.

Children are grouped with similar ages and ability changes may be made to the level your child is in depending on the ability and speed of the children skiing/snowboarding that day.

Please be aware that we try to operate a “nut-free” environment so we ask that you do not pack any nut products should you choose to pack your own lunch or snack.

If you choose to add the hot lunch option, it consists of a hotdog, fries, and pop. You can place your order with the kitchen in the morning during drop off.

Your child will eat lunch with the kids in their group while a lunch monitor oversees the room.

Actual time on snow will vary depending on weather conditions the group’s ability and stamina. Some groups will take a quick 30-minute lunch with no breaks and others, usually, those who are at the early stages of learning to slide on snow and those groups with younger children will take more frequent breaks throughout the day to rest and recuperate.

Keep in mind that children learn at different rates and that the child’s overall enjoyment of their time at Loch Lomond is most important.

START OF DAY

Please note lessons start at the lesson time SHARP. On heavy snow days, the warmup may start in the learning area before moving to the chairlift. Please ensure the child is ready to go, with boots and equipment by the start time. If you require rentals please ensure you allow enough time to collect.

END OF DAY

Pick-up time is :1200pm for half-day programming, and 2:30 pm for full-day, pickup is from the kids learning area.

Little people love to ski! Join our 4-6 Learn to Ski Program, operating in four 5 day programs. Take one program, or all four. Our instructors will progress little skiers from learning to use their equipment properly, to advancing to blue/black terrain with confident wide turns.

All Lil’ Riderz programming runs in the afternoon, from 12:30-2:30

Little skiers can join us over Christmas Break, Dec 27-31, in our weekend programing on Saturdays or Sundays Jan8-Feb 6 or Feb 12-March 13, OR in our March Break Camp Mar 14-18.

Adult/Teen lessons are the place to be! Our instructors will get any individual comfortable on their skis, or progress them to an advanced level!

Friday nights, 5:30-7:30 is our dedicated Adult program. We will have three groups out at any given time; beginners, intermediates, and advanced skiers.
Beginners will be getting comfortable using the lifts and skiing green terrain. Intermediates are being introduced to black terrain while working on new skills like pole plating on blue or green runs. Advanced skiers will be working with coaches to dial in their turns and improve overall skiing efficiency and ability.
