Welcome to Snow School

I would like to welcome you to Loch Lomond Resort for another great season of skiing and snowboarding. Here at Snow School, our goal is to create life-long skiers and snowboarders through skill improvement in a fun and relaxed environment. Snow School’s biggest asset is its huge staff of Snowpros. These ski and snowboard professionals are the key to improving your skills. If you want to ski or ride like a pro, you need to learn from a pro. Whether you are a beginner or expert, this is the year to let a Loch Lomond Snowpro help you make that first turn or take you to the next level. Look forward to seeing you on the hill.

Norwesters Alpine Club
Irene Pawson, 577-2268 - The Juvenile Racing Programs at the Loch Lomoind Ski Area are organized and run by the NORWESTERS ALPINE CLUB, which is a voluntary not-for-profit registered organization.

Our programs follow Alpine Canada's "AIM-2-WIN" manual guidelines and utilize their National "Husky Snow Stars Skills" training program which takes young ski athletes through a progression of achievement skills from year-to-year in a safe and fun filled format. Athletes will learn and improve their skiing skills and at the same time learn how to race in a team environment.

All our programs are staffed with certified ski coaches. The programs will run from early December to early March, depending on weather conditions.

Skiing in the Schools Program

School Ski and Snowboarding Program

We promise to offer a low cost package of quality instruction, creating skills to last a lifetime in a safety-first oriented environment.

Our Packages . . .

We offer one full day, or two, three and four half-day packages to accommodate any schedule designed for grades four to eight.

The most common elective program spans four half morning or afternoon sessions. Just one visit will leave a lasting sense of achievement for each student. This winter your school should include our skiing/snowboarding program as one of your winter electives.

We offer adventure packed runs that are sure to satisfy everyone from the total beginner to the daring advanced skier/snowboarder. Our mix of beginner, intermediate and advanced terrain is ideal for a complete learning experience with plenty of opportunity to improve skills. We have lifts that reach the top of the mountain and surface lifts for beginners.

All of our Snow School instructors are trained by CSIA (Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance) or CASI (Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors) and there is always full-time professional Ski Patrol on duty. Safety is our first concern and we will do everything in our power to ensure a safe and enjoyable program for every student.

What is included . . .
